Why Use Us

Rubber Buffers / Rubber Stops

Fibet offer an extensive range of Buffers / Resilient End Stops, which are used within a number of applications – either to protect the equipment from damage, or as low cost feet – where there is no requirement for a fail-safe functionality.

These are offered with male, female threads and/or different profiles to satisfy a large variety of load capacities at the required level of progressive absorption.

Rubber buffers or vibration dampers are the anti-vibration mountings elements that reduce vibration, shocks and noise in machinery. We are a leading supplier of high-quality rubber buffers to protect the equipment from damage.

FAQs

Rubber buffers or vibration dampeners are anti vibration mounting elements that reduce impact shocks and noise in machinery. Fibet is a leading supplier of high-quality buffers to protect equipment from damage, providing anti vibration buffers that are designed to eliminate impact, shock and noise in an extensive list of machinery. Our rubber stops are available in various shapes and dimensions, with stud or plate fixings, and can be used in a wide range of industries.

Indeed. Anti vibration buffers are used as a cushion to ensure very low impact shock and damage to machinery, designed and manufactured to absorb the kinetic energy to stop moving parts from damaging each other. Our range of anti vibration buffers are typically made from rubber due to the materials excellent shock absorbing properties, and rubber buffer stops are an easy to install, low maintenance and affordable solution for absorbing shocks and vibrations.

Fibet offers the following types of rubber buffers and rubber bump stops:

  • Cylindrical rubber buffers – extremely versatile and durable, used in most industries, this particular rubber buffer shock absorber is designed to prevent and obviate vibrations.
  • Parabolic rubber buffer for shocks – ideal impact absorbers due to their shape, enabling them to gently absorb the shock effects of large impact loads – whilst offering a flexible solution for when two mating parts don’t meet in parallel.
  • Conical anti vibration buffers – versatile and durable, conical AV buffers provide high levels of deformation under impact or load and provide a progressive stiffness rate during its compression distance to absorb energy and protect equipment.

Regardless of the complexity of the part you require, we will guide you through the selection process of finding the most suitable rubber buffer solution at the right place. Browse our huge range of rubber buffers now, and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any queries or if you would like to enquire about a rubber buffer price.

Rubber is a natural compound that offers excellent shock absorbing and anti-corrosive properties, making it the perfect material for anti vibration needs. Mechanical machinery parts benefit from its high impact resistance, good temperature properties, and good abrasive resistance. As well as this, rubber is a highly resilient material and is able to recover its original shape after a vibratory disturbance, making it a suitable material for absorbing machinery vibrations.

Given that the buffer and machine is properly maintained, the rubber buffer will be able to serve its purpose for many years. You will, however, need to keep a close eye for wear and tear, as this can cause lasting damage to the machine if not identified and rectified early.

There are several indicators to inform you that your mount needs replacing including:

  • Increased vibrations
  • Bumps or jolts in the machinery
  • Increased noise
  • Excessive wear in other components on the machine, including bearings, bolts shearing etc.
  • Particles of rubber surrounding the Mount positions.
  • A worn-out appearance

If you notice any of these signs, then it is time to replace your anti vibration rubber mounts before more problems arise. Contact Fibet, one of the leading rubber buffer manufacturers and rubber buffer suppliers, to discuss your rubber buffer needs.
